Shine City Project distributes food with The Just One Project at Von Tobel Middle School on August 19, 2023

On August 19, 2023, Shine City Project volunteered at Von Tobel Middle School with The Just One Project! Our volunteers helped to distribute donated foods for those in need. We helped to pass out frozen cherries, walnuts, canned chicken, canned tomatoes, garbanzo beans, split peas, and other items. To represent our group, we had eight volunteers with one joining us for the first time! Overall, even though we were well underway into the summer season, the weather cooperated to help provide cloudy skies and comfortable temperatures. It was a great day for being back outdoors for volunteering!
